Now a days, computer is an essential part of our life. You know, Now a days we cannot think our life without computer therefore it is very important to learn and know about computer. In this tutorial, we will discuss, what is computer?

Let’s define computer

Computer is an electronic machine which takes data from user, process it and convert into information. Computer is also a programmable machine.

Let’s break definition into small chunks and understand it.

Data: – Data is an unstructured things. It is a raw fact that has no meaning. It cannot be understood without process.

Process: – It is the step-by-step solution of any problem. When we are finding any solution then we are doing process.

Without process, data has no meaning. We need to process the data.

Information: – It is processed data. It has own meaning. It is in organised, structured, and gives us meaningfull insights.

Program: – set of instruction is called program. We have to give instruction to the computer so that computer can work.When user gives instruction to the computer then computer works. Therefore we write many instruction and store into computer that stored instruction is called program. Any machine required to give instruction so that they can work.
